Taj Palace Food Truck Reviews
Oh dannng, this was sooo good! That's the best tikka masala I remember having. The naan was perfectly crispy and chewy tasty, and even the rice had the perfect amount of spices (usually in Denver you just get no flavor rice). My boyfriend loves their butter chicken (his fav butter chicken in town), but I'm already excited to get the tikka masala again.
My ABSOLUTE FAVORITE INDIAN in Denver!!! Best food and especially for the price. I can't find better Indian anywhere in Denver or around it. I also love that it's a family owned business. For reference, my two favorite dishes are Chicken tikka masala and Chicken saag. But it's really hard to go wrong with any of the dishes.
Delicious food, solid price. Always leave happy. So grateful for this food truck :)
Dank food truck. So lucky to have it near where I work! Not much seating nearby unless you head to Union Station area, a quick walk away. I ordered chicken Tikka masala and it was delicious - combo includes curry, rice, AND Naan for around $9. They also had lamb vindaloo, korma, and butter chicken available as well as samosas and pakoras. The curry is great; good portion of meat. I should have asked for medium heat, I just forgot. But it was rich and not too heavy but not super thin; flavorful and delicious. The woman working is also so sweet, she gave my coworker and his dog dog treats! The value is great, the food is tasty, my stomach was happy. I will be back!!
Hooray for making fabulous Indian food so convenient! Some of the best in Denver and for such a great value considering the quality and portion sizes. I ordered the chicken tikka masala at a medium spice level and it was perfect. I was also very happy that it included garlicky naan which is usually an upcharge at most brick-and-mortar restaurants. The curry itself was super spicy (not in a hot way, but in the flavor way) with very fresh herbs and spices. It doesn't get any better than this for lunch downtown!
The skinny: The best tasting Indian food you'll find in Denver at an amazing value & generous portions. The food: Hands down some of the best Indian food I've been able to find in Denver. The menu has all your staple popular dishes you'd expect - which is amazing for a food truck. I ordered chicken tikka masala, chicken saag, and an app of vegetarian pakoras. They have an array of vegetarian & meat options. First off the food blew me away. I have a lot of trouble with some Indian places, loving their curry, but having their meats miss the mark with being too dry. That was not the case here! The curry was flavorful and the meat was nice and juicy. The pakoras with their dipping sauce left me wanting to go back and order more - even though the portions were already huge. Speaking of portions - they were gigantic - larger than any other place I've been to in Denver - and we've tried a lot. Each entree came with rice and naan (free naan? that's never the case!). The pakoras were in a large takeout box as well. And the price way cheaper than anywhere else I've been, about ~10 bucks an entree and $5 for apps - which every other place I've gone to their entrees are normally at least $15 for way less food. One great thing is that each entree comes with it's own rice - unlike some other places I've been to where no matter how much you order, you get the same amount of rice. The meal left us amazingly full and beyond satisfied and still craving more - which was perfect because the portions were so large we were able to have it for dinner too :) Atmosphere: It's a food truck in downtown Denver. Surprisingly comprehensive menu with specialty drinks and desserts as well. The lady that runs the place is very sweet and friendly. The only downside about the truck is that it only operates during lunch time - if they had longer hours I'd eat there all the time! Value/price: Huge portions at amazing prices what more can I say! Would I come back?Absolutely - this will be my new staple for Indian food.
I came across Taj Palace while on a mission to find good Indian food in Denver. The menu is very limited, but there are options for everybody, including chicken-based and vegetarian-based entrees. There is also an option to combine two dishes. I went with 1/2 chicken tikka and 1/2 paneer. The chicken tikka had a really nice and rich flavor. The paneer was not my favorite and I would not have ordered it again using that preparation (red and green peppers, no cream or curry sauce). I did not specify a spice level, and the food was mild-medium. For just about $10, I got two entrees, rice, and naan. The staff was very friendly and service was relatively quick (~10 minutes from start to finish)!

Absolutely a hidden gem. Never expected to find good Indian food from a food truck, but they have some of the best Indian food I've experienced in Colorado. And the prices are extremely reasonable
